Ampersand is still not stable

Hello there!

Recently, Ampersand has gained quite a bit of traction, and that’s well! However, we are pressured to make this post in light of some recent developments regarding misunderstandings on the application itself.

Ampersand is still very well in its infancy state, and as such, it doesn’t perform well if used to track polyfragmented systems, or systems who are very heavy on member sizes, tag sizes or custom fields.

This issue will be addressed and it is currently top priority in our list, but we felt the need to make an official statement as some of you are downloading the app on the hype, disregarding every “Early Access”, “Alpha” notices and then complaining about the app not being stable.

There are also some of you who are using the very old tech-preview PWA that is reachable as a website. For those of you who do, please stop doing it and if you have data to save, export it now. The PWA will be taken offline on January 20, 2026.
